I find this phase the most fun and interesting. It is easy in that you know what to do already. Now you just ask

Developing intuition is a matter of asking and listening. Your intuition is your strongest sense and most of us have learned to just ignore it.

Yet it will help you and probably already has. You may have avoided an injury or accident because you have had some intuition of a pending situation. You listened and avoided it, and found you were safe.

Or, you may have had a brilliant idea that came out of thin air.

All these situations are your intuition at work. What you need you do now, is develop it so you can use it when and where you want.

So …

Phase 7 – Developing Intuition

Start once again with calming and quieting your mind. Sit in that quiet time for a few minutes or more and then …

Ask a question in your mind. Something you want an insight into. It can be something specific or a general “where am I heading” type question. You can use it for health issues, including “what should I do for by back now?” or “should I go for this job”.

Just ask the question you have now, that you feel stuck on. Then just clear your mind.

Sit in quiet for a few minutes and detach yourself from the question or problem.

If after a few minutes nothing has “popped” into your mind, open your eyes and relax. Just carry on with your daily tasks and do not dwell on the question, just let it sit in your intuitive mind.

At some stage, today, tomorrow an answer will come into your mind. It may happen when you are relaxing or even while driving in your car. It will most likely come when you have a natural gap between thoughts, your natural quiet time that is developing.

You need to act on the answer, after all this is your intuition speaking.

Even if it is to just writing down the answer so you can work on the logical steps to complete it. But act on it immediately, recognize it was your intuition giving you an answer. If you don’t your intuition will not know you want to use it on a regular basis.

The more you practice this, the more you will ask and get answers coming to you quicker and quicker.

Eventually you will be able to ask and answer questions while you are wide awake. You can access the gap between your thoughts and allow your intuition to work on a problem.

This is fantastic for those brainstorming meetings or a job interview when they ask you some horrid question.

Just take a breath, relax, ask the question and then answer will comeeventually immediately.

To Recap …

Just quiet your mind, sit in silence for a few minutes and then ask a question.

Stay in silence for another few minutes and then open your eyes. Make sure you detach yourself from the question, don’t search for answer or try to think of one, just relax and let your intuition work.

Use this often and expect answers to occur, and they will.

What’s Ahead …

The final phase of your stress relief training is opening up your energy centers in your body. This will help with your over all health and accelerate the stress reducing effects you have learned.

It’s a great tool to add to the long term bag of tricks to stay well.

So, until next time, take care and use your intuition.
